In the wake of the recent landslide graduate student vote for launching a Cultural Studies Graduate Student Organization, the first meeting of that organization will be on Friday, 1 Nov. 2013, from noon to 2 P.M., in the Cultural Studies Seminar Room in Posvar 2201.  All CLST certificate students and students interested in enrolling in the certificate program are invited to attend.  Program Director Ron Zboray will be on hand to facilitate the proceedings until a leadership can be elected and bylaws drafted. The meeting will also discuss the kinds of activities the CLST-GSO can do and the funding available for doing it.  Pizza and other refreshments will be served.  Attendees should RSVP to Karen Lillis (cultural@pitt.edu) or 412-624-7232.
