Graduate students and faculty members are invited to hear short presentations by this year's two CLST Fellows. Tyler Brunette (COMMRC) will draw from his dissertation-in-progress on US media and the end of the free-range child since the 1980s: "Time for Slime: Repressive Desublimation in Children's Toy Commercials." Kiun Hwang (SLAV) will discuss a slice of her dissertation in a paper titled, "Walking, Reading, and Framing the Post-Soviet St. Petersburg Landscape: Making Dostoevsky Memorable."
CLST Director Ron Zboray hosts. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
