ANNUAL FELLOWSHIP SHOWCASE: The Two Current Cultural Studies Fellows Present Dissertation Slices in 402-CL, 2-3:30PM

Graduate students and faculty members are invited to hear short presentations by this year's two CLST Fellows.  Tyler Brunette (COMMRC) will draw from his dissertation-in-progress on US media and the end of the free-range child since the 1980s: "Time for Slime: Repressive Desublimation in Children's Toy Commercials."  Kiun Hwang (SLAV) will discuss a slice of her dissertation in a paper titled, "Walking, Reading, and Framing the Post-Soviet St. Petersburg Landscape: Making Dostoevsky Memorable." 

CLST Director Ron Zboray hosts. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
