2D CLST-GSO MEETING RATIFIES CONSTITUTION AND ELECTS OFFICERS

The Cultural Studies Graduate Student Organization at its second meeting on 6 December 2013 dissolved the provisional government that had been in place since the first meeting in November, ratified its founding constitution, and elected its first slate of officers who will serve until March 2014:

Wil Upchurch (COMMRC), President
Sarah Bishop (COMMRC), Vice President
Marie Skoczylas (SOC), Secretary/Treasurer
Jeff Klein (MUSIC), Social Minister

At the last meeting, Paulina Tomkowicz (FRIT) was appointed to represent CLST at A&S-GSO, with Jeff Klein as the alternate. The constitution names the Director of the Graduate Program for Cultural Studies the de-facto advisor.
