Three CLST Fellowships Awarded

This year through a unique arrangement CLST will be having not two, but three fellows, two half-year and one full-year one.  The full-year one went to Olga Kim from Film Studies (Slavic), for her dissertation, “Soviet Tableaux: Ethno-National Cinemas under Late Socialism.” Paulina Tomkowicz from French and Italian received one of the half year ones, for her dissertation, "Passion for the Potential: Potentiality in French Literary and Cinematic Narratives in the Twentieth and Twenty-first Century.” The other half-year fellowship went to Olga Mukhortova from Film Studies (Slavic Languages), for her dissertation, “Woman on Both Sides of the Camera: Post-Soviet Female Subjectivity 1991-2010s.” All three recipients are currently participating in the Departments Dissertation Writers' Colloquium.
